Below is a sampling of the music you’ll hear in the game. You can visit Newgrounds.com to download it. While you’re there, don’t forget to vote for it !

If you like what you hear, you can pre-order the game soundtrack, set to be released early July. It’ll lengthen out all of the pieces in the sample above, plus additional music (for a total of 11 full-length tracks). It’s a great way to show support and get some music in return!

First off, I’d like to show you a short piece I wrote for Melissa Lee, an animation student. She’s working on an animation based on animals found in old world China, which is looking great. I got to test out some sounds I’ve recently purchased from East West (QL Ra), which has ethnic instruments from many regions around the world. I think it turned out really well – it has a different sound that some of my other work, but I think it still has that flavor people look for in my music. Let me know what you think!

Today The Dev Center (TDC) is officially launched, with over 60 loops, stingers, and full pieces to use in any multimedia project. I’m going to be pushing this resource as hard as possible to raise awareness. I’ll be constantly expanding it and adding new features to make it a leading resource for developers on the web.

Some of the features include:

• A full musical database with an easy to navigate organization system (I’ve maximized screen real-estate to minimize endless clicking through pages)
• New PhpBB forums to seek help, request features, or meet other developers.
• Expandable flash navigation logo so EVERY page of TDC has a standard navigation bar to give you access to all the main pages

Even if you’re not a developer, there’s plenty of never-before-heard music for you to listen to (enough for an entire album!). If you have suggestions or comments, I’d love to hear them!

If you have a second, I’d greatly appreciate your vote for it on Newgrounds. You can also loop it there as well, if you’d like to hear what the loop sounds like in action!

So, I decided instead to upload a 116kbps (decent quality) version of the full piece on Newgrounds for everyone to hear and enjoy. If you like it, you can opt to purchase a much higher quality (320 kpbs) version on the website store. If you have a nice sound system you will hear a difference in sound quality between the two. Plus, it’s a great way to help support my music and maintaining my site!

While The Dev Center (TDC) is geared towards multimedia developers, it is not limited only to them. Anyone has access to it and the plethora of audio it possesses. I haven’t done a total run-time tally, but we’re looking at more than enough music for a full length album. Most of it is never-before-heard on DavidOrr.net!

I’ll make another update when TDC is officially launched. I’m going to be pushing a pretty aggressive advertisement campaign to get the word out, so don’t hesistate to let your friends know!

A remastered version of the original from 2006, which was a hit release on popular website such as Newgrounds. Remixed from the ground up, complete with new orchestral additions. This version breathes new life into the piece!
